Portland Outdoor Family Photography with Family of Five
Portland Outdoor Family Photography
I have a cool story for you. This 11 year old girl was actually the one who found my website and facebook page and booked me for their Portland outdoor family photography session! How cool is that? Kids like me, apparently????. When they showed up for their session, we all immediately clicked and totally got each other. The kids turned into my BFFs in about 10 minutes (as soon as they realized that I was going to let them play games almost the entire session). Their youngest didn’t want the session to end and kept asking if they could play just one more photo game! I love it! That’s half the reason that I set up the sessions the way I do, so everyone has a great time together! The other half is because it makes adorable photos????.
“Location and lighting were absolutely amazing! I also loved the games to keep my kids engaged. We had a great time.”
On with the photos!
The reason for the impromptu Rock, Paper, Scissors game: They both wanted to go first for their individual pictures! Lol. I just love them. I work at an elementary school and this is how we solve a lot of problems!
They brought a soccer ball with them and played as a family for the last few minutes of the session. I love this shot I got of them playing! But the point of the game wasn’t necessarily to photograph it, but to add some more fun memories to their photo session. The kids are going to remember all this fun when they see their photos hanging on their walls.
Family hug under the tree!
Kids love the blanket game so we play it at most sessions <3
