Fun and Candid Fall Family Photography in Portland

I’m finally blogging this candid family session from last fall, do you think I waited long enough? Lol. I’m not always fast at blog posts but at least it’s getting done eventually! It makes sense to post this one now considering that fall is coming up really soon. How did that happen?! Is it time for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, beautiful Portland fall colors, and cozy sweaters already? This family was celebrating dad’s recent return from deployment, which is a nice reminder of how precious time is with those we love. We started out the session with Aaron in his uniform because it was really important for them to have photos of him wearing it, as well as regular clothes. I always bring a changing tent so that made the outfit switch quick and easy. Their son was in the best mood once he realized that the session was going to be fun, rather than stiff and boring. We had a great time playing and joking around so there were plenty of laughs!

I asked Rhonda what her favorite photo was from the session and she couldn’t pick just one. Here are her five absolute favorites:

And it seemed like my son was being so silly, I wasn’t confident there would be any where he wasn’t sticking his tongue out! There much have been hundreds all together to have had so many that were so good! You are obviously an extremely talented photographer!
