Burnt Honey

Burnt Honey is warm, punchy, and true to the moment. It’s designed for photographers who want a touch of glow without losing depth. A profile that makes skin tones look creamy, sunlight feel golden, and colors stay grounded.

This profile was created to handle a range of natural light situations: cozy in-home sessions, glowing golden hour, and even those flat, overcast days outdoors. It brings life to soft light and keeps tones feeling rich and consistent no matter the setting.

The best way to use this profile is to add a subject mask that brightens subjects, and sometimes also a background mask to lower highlights and shadows a little. This helps your subject pop!

If your work leans on true to life colors and natural light, Burnt Honey is made for you. It gives warmth and vibrancy without pushing things too far, so your images still feel like your images… just with a little extra magic.

Yes! Once Imagen edits your images, you can open them in Lightroom or Camera Raw and tweak to your liking, add masks, etc.

Yes, as you use the profile and upload your final edits to Imagen, it will learn your style and adapt to your specific way of editing. So if you tend to make your images cooler than I do, or use more or less contrast, or whatever it is, the profile will learn and start to change.

Way faster than doing it by hand. Imagen edits about 3 photos per second, so most sessions are finished in just a few minutes.

To give you an idea:

  • Standard family or portrait sessions: a few minutes
  • Larger galleries or weddings: around 10–20 minutes

The exact time depends on how many images you upload, but just get it started and make a coffee and you will likely come back to edited images!

This AI profile has been trained on over 14,000 of my images, so it’s ready for all kinds of lighting scenarios.

I shoot with a Canon R5 and created this profile using images from all kinds of real sessions: golden hour, overcast days, in-home, blue hour, backlight, and even full sun. Because it was trained on a wide range of lighting scenarios, it adapts really well.

That said, it’s not a magic fix for poorly lit images. Good light in camera will always give you the best results, and the profile will enhance what’s already there.
